KRMC Welcomes Jeffrey Spiegel to the firm.
December 11, 2017
We are pleased to welcome Jeffrey Spiegel to the firm as an associate lawyer in our Corporate Commercial practice group.
Jeffrey joins us after having completed his articles at a full service Toronto law firm where he gained valuable experience in business law and also had the opportunity to be exposed to other areas of law.
We are happy to have Jeffrey join us as the latest addition to our talented team of lawyers and support staff.
Take our Kids to Work Day 2017
Wednesday, November 1, 2017 was Take Our Kids to Work Day and KRMC was happy to welcome the following grade nine students to the firm:

Hersh Kapur
Activities for the day included spending time at Toronto Small Claims Court, learning about the Canadian judicial system and about the various paths to a career in the legal field. Grade nine students also spent time job shadowing their hosts which provided a first hand view of the world of work.
We thank the students for joining us and hope they enjoyed the day as much as we did!
A Big Welcome to our new Articling Students!

KRMC is pleased to announce the arrival of the following articling students for the 2017-2018 articling term.
We also welcome Eli Lesser and Victor Cheng to the firm, who will complete their articles in KRMC’s Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation stream. Eli recently completed his third year of law school at Osgoode Hall Law School and Victor recently completed his third year of law school at Queen’s University Faculty of Law.
We look forward to working with our students during the coming months!
KRMC Welcomes Hero Salih to the Firm

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Hero S. Salih to our firm. Hero joins KRMC as an associate lawyer in the Corporate Commercial group and gained substantial business law experience working as a lawyer at a large downtown Toronto law firm and at a smaller firm in Hamilton. We are very happy to have Hero join us and feel she will be a great addition to the KRMC team!
KRMC’s Abigail Romberg and Raquel Kaplan Goldberg – Guest Speakers

On June 13, 2017, Abigail Romberg and Raquel Kaplan Goldberg gave an information session on the topic of “Powers of Attorney and Wills” to the B’Nai Brith Upper Canada Lodge. Approximately 30 seniors were in attendance. Abigail and Raquel discussed the importance of preparing for incapacity and death and of having Powers of Attorney for Personal Care, Powers of Attorney for Property and Wills.
Welcome New Personal Injury Summer Law Students

Philip Cho honored as a Community Leader

FACL is a diverse coalition of Asian Canadian legal professionals who promote equity, justice, and opportunity for Asian Canadian legal professionals and the broader community. Over the last 10 years, FACL has grown to be a significant voice in the legal community in Canada.
Welcome New Summer Law Students

KRMC is pleased to announce the arrival of two general stream summer law students to the firm. Broghan Masters joins us after having completed her second year of law school at Osgoode Hall. Trisha Dhandhari also joins us after having completed her second year at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. We are excited to have Broghan and Trisha with us this summer and welcome them both!
We look forward to the arrival of two additional summer law students joining us in May in our Personal Injury stream. More details soon to come!
Philip Cho to act as panel member at ACLSC’s upcoming conference

Philip Cho will be a speaking on the Civil Litigation Panel for the 13th Annual Asian Canadian Law Students Conference taking place on February 25, 2017 at the Ontario Bar Association. The Conference is organized by several student associations from law schools in Ontario, and sponsored by many of Canada’s largest law firms.
