Biography
Cody practices Civil Litigation in KRMC’s banking and civil fraud litigation practice group. Cody also regularly represents clients in vehicle repair and storage lien disputes.
Cody joined the firm as an Articling Student with KRMC’s Creditors’ Rights group.
Cody graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. While in law school, Cody volunteered and worked at Downtown Legal Services as a caseworker and division leader in the Tenant Housing Law group where he gained experience in matters before the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. While in his final year of law school, Cody was awarded Best Appellant Factum in the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot, and was a winner of the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada.
Prior to law school, Cody obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with a specialization in Finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
