George Nashaat

George is an associate lawyer within the firm’s Business Law and Real Estate Law groups. His practice focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, incorporations and re-organizations, commercial real estate, and commercial leasing. Working with companies at all stages of development, George assists clients on a wide range of corporate matters and commercial agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, George represented various chartered banks in connection with secured lending transactions. He has successfully completed over 150 transactions with total borrowings in excess of $250MM to date.

George earned his JD/MBA from the University of Calgary and worked within the legal departments of three major energy companies. In these positions, George engaged in securities, corporate governance, litigation, environmental, and regulatory tasks.

He approaches every issue from both a legal and business perspective, and his high attention to detail and exceptional writing skills ensures that he delivers with 100% accuracy on every file.
