Stephanie practices civil litigation in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights department. She primarily represents major financial institutions in all aspects of debt recovery, managing a large portfolio of matters. Stephanie’s practice includes providing opinions regarding collectability, initiating legal proceedings, securing judgments, filing writs of seizure and sale, executions, and garnishments, conducting examinations in aid of execution, and advising on the impact of privacy and other consumer protection statutes and regulations.
Stephanie is a member of the firm’s Articling Committee. She is also responsible for the firm’s small claims court department, where she oversees and provides guidance and training to the firm’s articling students in relation to small claims hearings, examinations and trials.
Stephanie joined KRMC in 1998 upon her admission her admission to the Bar. Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie articled in a boutique litigation firm in downtown Toronto.
