Biography
Sandy’s practice is focused on litigation and pursuing legal remedies for the collection and enforcement of judgments. She primarily represents major financial institutions in all aspects of debt recovery, managing a large portfolio of matters. She regularly appears before the Ontario courts for motions, applications, and trials.
Sandy obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school, Sandy volunteered and worked at Community & Legal Aid Services Programme (“CLASP”) as an interpreter, caseworker, division leader in family law, and was one of three board members. Sandy was the recipient of the Helen Grossman, Q.C award, for her dedication and involvement in CLASP.
Sandy participated in many moots, both elective and credited. She was awarded as a Distinguished Oralist.
Sandy is fluent in Arabic.
