Associate Lawyer – Litigation – Creditors’ Rights Law

We currently have an opportunity available for an ambitious, dedicated, and personable lawyer to join our busy firm located in the thriving uptown business district of Toronto, conveniently located above the Yonge/Sheppard subway station. The successful candidate will possess two to five years of litigation experience as well as experience attending court, ideally with a focus on Creditors’ Rights law and enforcement of Judgements. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with the recovery of outstanding debt on behalf of financial institutions. It will be advantageous if the candidate also has experience in mortgage enforcement matters. Additionally, French speaking skills will be considered an asset.

The selected applicant will be well organized, have superior oral and verbal communication skills and be a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario. They will be responsible for contributing to the continued success of our well-established practice and will also demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to advance the growth of the firm.

Experience:

  • Creditors’ Rights Law and enforcement of judgements: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Litigation: 2 years (Required)
