KRMC is a mid-sized, diverse, multi-service law firm with two fully linked sophisticated Toronto offices — our head office in the thriving uptown business district. We act for a number of well-known clients including financial institutions, leasing companies, multinational corporations, and owner-operated businesses.


We are currently seeking an experienced business professional with an accounting designation to fill the role of Director of Administration. This position will be held at our main office, at Yonge and Sheppard, which has direct access to the Sheppard subway station.

As the senior business professional in the firm, the person filling this role will be responsible for all administrative functions and will lead a well-established team of managers (IT, Accounting and HR), to ensure the firm has the required administrative support. Reporting to a three member Executive Committee, the Director will play a key operational and strategic role in the firm, including acting as an expert resource to the executive committee and other partners in many areas. Strong management skills are essential, but so is the willingness to "roll up the sleeves" and get things done.


  • Assist the Executive Committee in developing and achieving firm objectives
  • Work with individual departments on profitability and strategic initiatives
  • Provide oversight for articling and summer student programs
  • Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with established firm policies
  • Maintain a well-coordinated and efficient administration structure to the firm.


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Tact, diplomacy and self-confidence when dealing with individuals at all levels of the firm.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Education and Experience:

  • Accounting Designation
  • 5 + years' experience in an administrative management position in a law firm or other professional services organization
